Unveiling the ICS-ITOMIC ECO CUTE in the UK

Oct. 23, 2009 - UK based company ICS Heat Pump Technology unveiled today the UK's first natural refrigerant based commercial heat pump. Developed in partnership with Nihon Itomic, the "ICS-ITOMIC ECO CUTE CO2" may provide up to 90°C output temperature with a high COP and is available for either sanitary hot water purposes or combined sanitary hot water and heating.

The press launch of the 90°C ICS-ITOMIC ECO CUTE CO2 took place today at the ICS Group Facility in Southampton, UK. A presentation by Hirotaka Itou, President of Nihon-Itomic providing an overview of the huge Japanese market for CO2 heat pumps was then followed by a presentation by Malcolm Edwards, ICS Group Technical Manager, who provided an insight into the potential growth of CO2 as a refrigerant within the UK market.
